Ambus is a very comprehensive, high quality office desk and office storage system available in a wide range of both MFC and veneer finishes, with panel end or metal frame desk options and incorporating an extensive choice of office desks, office tables, reception counters and three ranges of complementary office screens.
Ambus Office Furniture Office Desks and Pedestals
All Ambus office desks are available on panel ends or two styles of metal frame: the original Ambus frame or the newer C-frame. All are fitted with access cutouts as standard, and wire management and pass-through ports are available as options. Recessed panels or recessed frames may be specified to maximise kneehole space when desks or desks and returns are linked together

Office desks 800mm to 2000mm wide
Wave Office Desks
Ambus offers two styles of office wave desk. The Ambus wave curls back to 800mm at each end, maximising flexibility of layout. The Classic wave is 800mm deep at one end and 1000mm at the other.
Double Wave Office Desks
Double wave office desks curve out to 1000mm at each end, and are available in 1600mm and 1800mm widths.
Corner Desks
Corner desks are available 1400mm to 2000mm wide, with a return side measuring 1200mm. There are also 1800mm and 2000mm D-ended corner desks.
Simple Corner Desks
Simple corner desks feature a simplified structure and reduced range of sizes – but offer a cost saving.
Bow Front Corner Desks
Optional bow fronts offer a different visual style and provide enhanced knee room for visitors pulling up to the front of the desk.
Compact Corner Desks
The return side is reduced to 1000mm (from the 1200mm of a standard corner desk) – still providing plenty of depth when used with a flat screen monitor, but saving space by reducing the workstation footprint. Shown here with C2 frame option.
120º Workstations
May be used individually, but more usually in clusters of three. Also available with and integral pedestal to left or right.
Meeting Desk
Desks with shaped top and integral pedestal, in 1500mm and 1700mm widths. Ideal for customer-facing application such as Estate Agencies or car sales showrooms. Pedestal is cable managed as standard. Standard tapered legs may be replaced with a single satin stainless steel pedestal base.
Simple Compact Corner Workstations
A compact corner desk with a simplified structure.
Free-standing Pedestals
All pedestals incorporate side drawer pulls, and may optionally be fitted with any of three handle styles. File drawers are fitted with heavy duty ball-bearing 110% extension runners.
Fixed Pedestals
Specification as freestanding pedestals. May not be used in combination with C2 metal frames.
Narrow Pedestals
320mm wide, compared to the 431mm of standard pedestals. Useful where knee space might otherwise be restricted.
Low Mobile Pedestals
Offer a cost saving over medium height pedestals (one drawer less). Also useful where the space between the pedestal and the underside of the desk top can be utilised, e.g. to support a small printer or other equipment.
Ambus Office Furniture Reception Counters
Rectangular and 90° radius reception desks in veneer, with glass counter tops and deskovers. Inset modesty panels for wheelchair access are optional.
